    Lesson 17 Let’s  Buy  Postcards!

    一、教学目标:
          (一)知识目标:
          1、能听、说、读、写单词:postcard, e-mail, letter。
          2、能用英语简单描述postcard, e-mail, letter。
          3、能听懂描述明信片时使用的语言。
          (二)能力目标:
          学生能正确运用英语购物,能在创设的情境中进行交流,使语言交际与表达能力进一步得到提高。
          (三)情感目标:
          1、激发学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣,培养学习主动性,感受用英语购物的乐趣。
          2、学会用明信片的形式主动与人交流,学会与他人共处。
          3、购物时会运用简单的礼貌用语,养成懂礼貌、尊重他人的好习惯。
          二、教学重点、难点:
          (一)教学重点:
          能正确运用postcard, e-mail, letter,能准确理解课文内容。
          (二)教学难点:
          能熟练运用所学词汇与句型描述明信片并进行交际。
          三、教学准备:
          postcards, letter, e-mail的图片,shop的挂图,单词卡片,教学光盘,
          四、教学过程:
          Step 1: Warming up and Review
          1、Greeting:
          Class begins! Good morning, everyone! It’s a sunny day, today. I’m very
          happy! Do you feel happy? (I feel happy, too.)
          2、Lead in :
           Today, Li Ming is happy, too. Do you know where they are?(In
          Beijing.)Yes, they are shopping in Beijing. They want to buy some
          postcards for their families and friends. What is a postcard? I can show
          you! (给生出示明信片)
          (设计意图:通过师生问候,引出李明等在北京购买明信片,为学习词汇、课文做准备)。
          Step 2: Presentation
          1、教授postcard.
          出示一张带有熊猫图片的明信片,引出postcard, 师问What’s on this postcard?  (A panda or a
          picture.) Yes, A postcard has a picture on it. 同时将此句板书。         
          出示一张带有天安门图片的明信片。师问What does the postcard have?         (A postcard has a
          picture of Tian’anmen square.) 师将一张postcard放入自制邮箱中,做出send(寄出)的动作。让生齐说send,
          send, send. 将I want to send this postcard to      .板书。让生用明信片来练习send句子.
          2、教授letter.
          出示一个带有英文内容信的图片,Look, what’s this? 引出A letter. 师将“信”与“明信片” 做对比,师强调 A letter
          has NOT a picture. But a postcard has a picture on it. 告知生:A postcard has
          a picture of          on it. 同时板书,师出示明信片让生练习此句话。
             3、教授e-mail.
          出示一个带有电子邮件的电脑的图片,Class, What’ this? Is this a letter?(No.)You are right!
          This is an e-mail.强调“-”连字符不要丢掉,(并将an 用红色字体表示),师将信与电子邮件做对比,并强调You write a
          letter on paper; But You write an e-mail on a computer.
          (设计意图:讲授新词时采用以图引出单词,然后用单词说出句子的形式,直观、形象、易于接受,且有助于学生巩固、理解、运用新知)。
          4、出示shop背景。Class, Let’s buy postcards!师与一生做对话示范。
          Step 3: Drill and Practice
          1、Let’s see how do they buy. (出示需填空的对话幻灯片)
          A:Can I help you ?
          B:I want to buy some postcards .
            May I see that _________,please ?
          A:Here you are .
          B:Thank you .How much for this postcard ?
          A:________yuan.
          B:I’ll take _______,please.
          A:Here you are.
          B:Thank you.
          A:You are welcome.               
          2、Listen to the dialogue and then repeat.
          3、Check the answer. (两人分角色完成填空)
            (设计意图:让学生根据课文填空,使其进一步理解课文内容。)
          4、Divide students into groups and make up a dialogue.
              5、Act out their own dialogue.小组展示对话。(适时评价,赠送明信片。)
          (设计意图:进一步巩固新知,使学生学以致用,锻炼了口语交际能力,充分发挥了学生的学习主动性)。
