Teaching topic: Lesson 14 Let’s sing a song
Teaching aims:
1Knowledge:a.Master the phrases: bus stop, bus driver, school bus
b.Learn to say phrases:play the guitar, play the piano,sing softly
c. Learn to sing the new song.
2.Skills: Learn to say drills and express their ideas in English to improve the using ability of the language.
3.Feelings: 通过学习对话,培养学生有爱心,乐于帮助别人的美好品格。通过歌曲的学习提高对美的欣赏。

b.Learn to say phrases:play the guitar, play the piano
Difficult points: Learn to sing the new song.
Teaching tools: tape , teacher’s cards: bus stop, bus driver, school bus
Teaching procedures:
Step 1. Class opening and review
① Greetings: Good morning,boys and girls.
It’s sunny today,do you feel happy?
② Review the following words:wet, dry, boots, umbrella, rain
Method: Use a guessing game to review.

Step 2: Presentation:
① Learn to say phrases: bus stop, bus driver, school bus
(Show the card:bus stop)Here’s the bus stop.Jenny and LiMing meet at the bus stop.
(Another card:school bus)The school bus is coming.
(Show the card:bus driver)I am a bus driver.Good morning,everyone.
[设计意图:运用图片展示生活的情景,使学生们生动、直观、高效地掌握所学内容。]
② Learn to say phrases:play the guitar, play the piano
Method:Do the actions: play the guitar, play the piano.Let the students guess.
What is the teacher doing?
Answer and learn to say.
Translate:1.我想弹吉他。
2詹尼会弹钢琴。
3.你会唱歌吗?
[设计意图:形象生动的导入,学习语言提高学生的语言学习兴趣。翻译培养检验学生的语言运用。]
③ Learn to say phrases:sing loudly, sing softly
(Let volunteers sing songs) He sings loudly/softly.
I want everyone to sing loudly.
I want you to sing softly.
[设计意图:形象、生动的教学方式能激发儿童所有的感觉、知觉,让他们更好地掌握所学语言信息。]
④Listen to the tape and answer questions:
1. Who wants to learn a new song?
2. Who is going to play the guitar?
3. What’s Jenny going to do?
4. Does Danny sing loudly or softly?
[设计意图:听过听录音进一步学习语言,通过不同的问题回答了解学生的语言理解情况,也是学生运用语言的过程。]
⑤ Make a dialogue in pairs.
[设计意图:给学生充分体现自己语言组织、创造才能的机会,让学生畅所欲言,做真实、有意义的交流,也培养了助人为了的良好品格。]
Step 3.Learn to sing the new song:
This new song maybe more difficult to your students. If you don’t have much time, you can just appreciate it.Don’t spend more than ten minutes to learn it.
Step 4. Homework:
1. Listen to the tape and read the text.
2. Copy the master phrases three times and make a sentence use the phrases.
